Newsletter Issue 1: Joe Bob and Darcy Q&A

Hey what’s up Mutant Fam this is Frank coming to you from the New York offices of mutantfam.com with your first MutantFam Newsletter for the week ending in Friday March the 13th.

This week is a big one folks, Friday the 13th we will be hosting Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl at mutantfam.com/joebob as they lead a live tweet of Friday the 13th The Final Chapter.

All you have to do is get your copy of Friday the 13th The Final Chapter ready on the TV and press play at 9PM EST.  Then grab another one of the many screens you have and head over to mutantfam.com/joebob to watch Joe Bob and Darcy live stream during the film.

Think of it as if they are sitting in the room watching it with you.  You can send your questions to them through tweet and they will answer them live on video.  Make sure to use the hashtags and handles:

Before the big Q&A though we will also be hosting a live tweet of the Friday the 13th fan film Never Hike Alone along with the director himself Vincente Disanti who is in post production on the sequel Never Hike in the Snow.  Tune in at 7PM EST at mutantfam.com/nha.

After Never Hike Alone we’ll move over to Mutant Cafe who will be broadcasting a live cook along making delicious Devils Food Cupcakes on the Twitter handle @CafeMutant or links can be found at mutantfam.com/cafe.

Of course along with that we have our standard #MidnightMarathon scheduled after the Joe Bob and Darcy Q&A.  This weeks theme is Slashers. Join us for 5 hours of awesome short films and two feature length public domain flicks at mutantfam.com/marathon

What also has me so excited about this Friday the 13th Q&A isn’t just the event itself though.  On March 11th our good friends over at Garage of Horror Podcast will be releasing their interview with the one and only Diana “Darcy the Mail Girl” Prince.

But that’s not all, after the Friday the 13th Bash both Darcy and Joe Bob will be appearing on an episode of Channel of the Living Dead to discuss all the fun and wrap it all up in one nice package.
